Meet the Artist
Angela Bonaparte Music

Bio

Angela Carlene Bonaparte, the premier gospel soul artist

As a native of South Carolina, she was raised in a musical family, and cultivated her growing talent by drawing off  of inspirations such as The Legendary Caravans, Rev. James Cleveland, and other pioneers of traditional gospel. As a young choir director, she heard God's calling to use her voice to spread His word through music. In her budding music career, Angela has been blessed to share the stage with gospel greats such as, Helen Miller, Helen Baylor, and Stellar Award winner Lee Williams and the Spiritual QCs. More recently she has able to minister alongside gospel award winning recording artist Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites.

Angie, as she is known to family and friends, has been working non-stop to perfect her music ministry. Her brand of worship, coupled with her southern charm and energetic zeal, comes as fresh summer breeze to the genre of gospel music. Angie's dynamic gospel performances help to merge the traditional with the contemporary while keeping the audience on their feet from the moment she hits the stage. Her favorite biblical quote: "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me." (Phil 4:13) Surely once you hear this Carolina girl, you will see why is well on her way to becoming a staple in gospel music.
